What is the MD Health 13 week program?

MD Health’s 13 Week Program is designed to help you feel and see the difference in 13 short weeks!

Once you’ve completed your 13 Week Program you’ll automatically become a member of the MD Health Club.

Once you are a part of the MD Health Club you will received discounted Gold Membership Pricing as well as FREE promotional sessions and a freebie for your birthday.

Why do we recommend a minimum of 13 weeks, twice a week?

These are not random time and volume numbers, but very specific based on science and Musculo-skeletal medicine, understanding the way your body grows and changes with exercise. 

There are 3 main reasons why these timeframes are so important:
  • Changes in muscle tone and strength take 13 weeks to peak.
  • We recommend Clinical Exercise & Pilates sessions twice a week as the minimum requirement for your body to adapt to a new exercise load.
  • You need time to make a new habit. Allowing yourselves 13 weeks to get into a new healthy routine will be so worth it when you can feel  the difference!

Don’t worry this is not a lock in contract but a suggested program to help you achieve the best results.

MD Health’s 13 week program

Getting started with MD Health is easy.

Just follow these steps and be on your way to feel the benefits!

1. Book an Assessment

Our Physiotherapists and Accredited Exercise Physiologists will talk to you about your short-term and long-term goals and write you a specialised treatment plan.

2. We'll write you up a treatment plan

Following your assessment our Physiotherapist or Accredited Exercise Physiologist will write you up a detailed and personalised treatment plan.

3. Clinical Exercise & Pilates twice a week

After your asessment we recommend coming in to complete Clinical Exercise & Pilates twice a week to get the most of our your program and see the best results.

4. Complete the 13 week program

Once you’ve completed your 13 Week Program at MD Health we;’ll conduct a 30 minute re-assessment to check in and see how you’re progressing towards achieving your goals. You’ll then automatically join our MD Health Club and receive the benefits of discounted Gold Membership Pricing and free sessions!

*Please note only the Full Body Assessment is a FREE service. The Full Body Assessment is for new clients at MD Health or returning clients who haven't been in for 6 months or longer who intend to particpiate in our 13 Week Clinical Pilates Program**.

For all new clients who wish to come in for a one-off, casual or adhoc basis for Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology the Initial Physiotherapy or Initial Exercise Physiology appointment is a paid service.

** The 13 Week Clinical Pilates Program at MD Health is not a lock in contract and you are not required to attend for the full 13 weeks if you do not wish.
