In order to ensure formal progression through our program here at MD Health, it is important for our clients to conduct timely reassessments.

There are many reasons for this, firstly it is to ensure that we’re moving our clientele in a positive direction, striving for our personal goals (whether it may be to increase muscular strength, or lose body weight, or even to manage certain symptoms), as well finding the opportunity to identify some new goals along the way.

We want to ensure that we are doing everything we can in your sessions to achieve this goal and challenge you physically so you are constantly improving and gaining strength. It is also important that any new niggles or pathologies that may appear are seen to swiftly and so your treatment plan may be altered accordingly to ensure these are treated and resolved.

Another vital reason we conduct regular re-assessments with our clients is in relation to claiming purposes with your Private Health Insurance Funds. In order to be eligible to claim Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology services regular assessments are required as a form of evidence of continuous progression/maintenance. Without proof of regular assessments if you were to be audited by your Health Insurance Fund you may have to pay back all the rebates received since your last assessment.
