With the flu season starting early this year we wanted to discuss what flu symptoms are and highlight everything we are doing in clinic at MD Health to ensure the well being of our clients and staff.
People who are sick with flu often feel some or all of these symptoms:
Fever or feeling feverish/chills.
Runny or stuffy nose.
Muscle or body aches.
Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults.
In light of recent news regarding coronavirus (COVID19), we ask that if you are:
– Experiencing any flu like symptoms
– If you have traveled overseas recently to countries like China, Iran, South Korea or Italy
– Have been in contact with anyone who has traveled internationally to these known hot spots in recent weeks
To please delay your sessions at MD Health until you are feeling better.
If you are not experiencing any flu symptoms please be rest assured that there is no need to worry and you may continue your sessions at MD Health as normal.
Cleaning Equipment at MD Health
In regards to cleaning our equipment at MD Health we wipe down all equipment after each session, and normally we would do a full clean and disinfect of all equipment once per week, however we have since increased this to once daily.
Please be rest assured we’re doing everything we can to ensure all equipment including reformers, bikes, barbells, kettle bells and weights etc are cleaned and disinfected regularly. We also have hand sanitiser that our practitioners use in between each session and we have this available for our clients to use in clinic.
We aspire to protect the well being of all our patients and staff here at MD Health and thank you for your cooperation.
If you have any further queries regarding this please don’t contact us on 03 9857 0644 (Kew East), 03 9842 6696 (Doncaster East) or email us at email@example.com
