Now it’s the beginning of winter and with a particularly cold snap this week it’s coming in to cold and flu season.

JUST A FRIENDLY NOTE TO ALL, IF YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM A COLD OR FLU, IT IS ADVISED TO STAY AT HOME AND REST TO STAY ON TOP OF YOUR SYMPTOMS AND MINIMISE THE SPREAD.

Given we have several clienteles who are prone to catching a viruses ie. pregnant women, those with autoimmune conditions and those with lowered immunity, we kindly ask if you please reschedule your sessions to avoid minimal exposure. The health of our staff is also important us as they are exposed to contact with people every day for several hours and we would hate to not only get sick ourselves but pass this on to the clients we see.

PEOPLE WHO ARE SICK WITH FLU OFTEN FEEL SOME OR ALL OF THESE SYMPTOMS:

  • Fever or feeling feverish/chills.
  • Cough.
  • Sore throat.
  • Runny or stuffy nose.
  • Muscle or body aches.
  • Headaches.
  • Fatigue (tiredness).
  • Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults.

If you are experiencing any cold and flu symptoms please postpone your sessions in clinic until you’re feeling better or please book an online Telehealth appointment with us that you can do from home.

It also very important to maintain good hygiene practices including coughing or sneezing into your elbow or tissue (and not your hands), regular washing and sanitising your hands and avoiding touching your face.

Together we can minimise the spread of cold and flu!

We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation on behalf of the MD Health Team.
