Mental health check in

How are you? How are you coping with the lock down and extended restrictions?

At MD Health we are more than just a Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Clinical Exercise clinic. We want you to know that we are here for you and to help you get through this in any way we can.

We’re all feeling the pressure and isolation of lock down. As a team we have come up with the idea of sharing gratitude and focusing on the positive things to have come out of lock down. We will be sharing the things we are grateful for and an activity, hobby or something we are thankful we now have more time to focus on. Keep your eyes peeled on our socials as we’ll be sharing them throughout the weeks to come.

As an exercise for you we invite you to start thinking about the things you are grateful for and the things you’ve learnt from each day. Each day list three things you are grateful for and three things you’ve learnt from that day. Even the simplest things like a good cup of coffee, spending 10 minutes outside in the sunshine or learning to set up a zoom chat to see your family can be a source of positivity to be grateful for. Reframing your mindset and thinking about the positive things in life can bring to light the small joys of each day and that even in the darkest of days there is light. We are here for you and together we will get through this.
